Privacy
What happens to your data when you visit. It's short because this site collects very little.
Who is responsible
Yosef Naabid Gutiérrez. For anything about your data, write to yosefnaabid@gmail.com and I'll answer personally, there's no department here.
What gets logged when you visit
This site is a static export served by Nginx from a virtual machine I administer myself. Like any web server, it records each request in an access log, with your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the response code and your browser's identifier.
I keep those for two reasons, keeping the service running and being able to diagnose a fault or an abuse when one happens. The legal basis is legitimate interest under article 6.1.f of the GDPR. I don't cross them with any other source and I don't build profiles of anyone.
What there isn't
There are no cookies, neither mine nor third-party. There is no analytics of any kind, no Google Analytics and no alternative to it. There are no forms, so you couldn't leave me data here even if you wanted to, the contact link just opens your own mail client.
And nothing loads from outside servers, fonts included. That means visiting this page doesn't report your visit to any company other than the one hosting it.
The language preference
When you switch language with the ES/EN button, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key “lang”. It is not a cookie and it never travels to any server, it stays on your machine and disappears if you clear the site data. It only exists so you don't have to choose again next time.
Who else sees the requests
Cloudflare sits as a proxy in front of the server, so it sees requests and IP addresses before they reach my machine. It's there for encryption, performance and protection against denial-of-service attacks.
The virtual machine is hosted on Microsoft Azure, Spain Central region. Both companies act as data processors, meaning they handle that data on my behalf and under the terms of their service agreements.
How long it is kept
Access logs rotate and are deleted automatically after 30 days. Past that point there is no trace of your visit left on the server.
Your rights
You can ask me for access to whatever data I hold about you, for its rectification or its deletion, object to the processing or ask me to restrict it. Write to yosefnaabid@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.
If you believe I haven't handled your data as I should, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, at aepd.es.
